Early Help
Early help is a way of getting extra support when your family needs it, but getting it as soon as difficulties start, rather than waiting until things get worse. It’s for children and young people of any age. It can last as long as you need it for.
Here at Windwhistle Primary School, we understand just how complicated family life can be. From time to time there may be situations where you need extra help and support. We have what we call an offer of early help. This might be (but is not limited to):
- Housing support
- Support for benefits/managing debt
- Food bank vouchers
- Help with School Uniform
- Support for finding a job
- Emotional support
- Support for your mental wellbeing
- Support for managing your child’s behaviour
- Domestic violence
- Substance misuse
